"Vada Yeomans Endowed Professor in Women’s Studies
The Center for Women’s Studies and Gender Research at the University of Florida invites applications and nominations for the Vada Yeomans Endowed Professor in Women’s Studies at the advanced Associate or full Professor level. Applicants should have demonstrated expertise in post-colonial, global, and/or transnational feminist theory. Preference will be given to scholars with research interests in Africa, Asia, or Latin America. The successful candidate must have demonstrated a commitment to feminist methodologies and pedagogies, mentoring students at all levels and program service. The holder of this endowed professorship will be expected to assist in the development of a Ph.D. program in Women’s and Gender Studies.
