Writing Effective Personal Statements – Many U.S. universities and colleges received a record number of applications, which resulted in record low acceptance rates.  It is getting tougher than ever to get into the schools that provide substantial financial assistance.  The EducationUSA Advisor will give advice on how to write personal statements that can help you stand out from the thousands of other applicants vying for admission to schools and scholarships.  From style, proofreading, length, and topics, there are many ways to approach the personal statements.  The presentation is in English.

Getting Ready to Go!  Applying for a Student Visa – Find out what you need to do after you have accepted admission to a U.S. university.  A consular officer will be available to demystify the student visa application process and provide important points to remember when applying for a student visa.  Come meet the person behind the window and get answers to your general questions about student visas and entering the U.S.  The presentation is in English.
