The Government of Rwanda, with support from the World Bank, African Development Bank and UNDP, is looking for committed, dynamic and results-driven professionals to join its Strategic Capacity Building Initiative (SCBI) – a unique and exciting opportunity to contribute to Africa’s emerging success story. With an average annual rate of economic growth of 7%, Rwanda was one of the top 10 fastest growing economies of the last decade. The country was also ranked one of the top ten global reformers in the World Bank Doing Business Survey 2010, and is on track to achieve its target of middle-income status by 2020.
With funds already committed from Development Partners, the SCBI aims to sustainably boost the capacity of government to deliver on its priorities: investment, energy, agriculture and mining.
In this respect, the Government of Rwanda is looking for experienced candidates from a range of skilled professions including finance and business analysts, legal experts, engineers, geologists, scientists, project managers and sector specialists (eg. electricity/energy, mining, agriculture) among others.
