Internship with United Nations University

Internship with United Nations University

As a think-tank for the UN System the United Nations University generates policy research on global issues on the UN agenda, and serves as an intellectual and policy-bridge among the UN system, Member States, Civil society, NGOs and academia.

In an effort to extend this mandate to the young generation, the UNU New York Office runs an internship program titled "Junior Professional Fellows". Interns selected for this program get to act as young ‘professionals’ and are given high level of responsibility and opportunity.

The activities of the UNU Office in New York center on event organizing, marketing and fundraising. These responsibilities are divided among the Policy Research team, Latin America team, Event team, Marketing team and Fundraising team.

The deadline for applications for the next internship session, running from February 1st to July 31st, 2009, has been extended to December 7, 2008.
