Merrill Lynch awards merit-based fellowships to African American, Native American, Hispanic, and female students interested in financial services and entering graduate business school.

The fellowship offers:

full tuition and fees for the first year of the MBA program
paid summer associate position in Global Markets, Investment Banking, or Capital Markets at Merrill Lynch
full tuition and fees for the second year of the MBA program after successful completion of the summer associate position and acceptance of an offer for a full-time position at Merrill Lynch following graduation in 2009
EligibilityTo be eligible to apply, you must be accepted to enter the MBA program in fall 2007 at one of the following graduate schools of business and be nominated by the school’s Office of Admissions:

Chicago
Columbia
Darden
Harvard
Kellogg
Stern
Wharton
Students who receive funding from other sources are also eligible for the Merrill Lynch Fellowship.

QualificationsMerrill Lynch seeks exceptional applicants who have:

strong quantitative and analytical abilities
solid oral and written communication skills
the ability to work independently while functioning as part of a team
superior talent and a commitment to achieving excellence.
