The Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) would like to announce that the Euro Arab Institute Foundation for Education and Training (INSTEA) is granting scholarships for the Master in Public Governance in the Arab World to officials and middle-rank servants from Arab public administrations who wish to strengthen their skills and gain practical experience in their key areas of work.
This Master course is due to start on 10 October 2011 and will provide public officials from National and Regional administration offices with strategic guidance and practical tools to enhance current government policies.
This course, which is coordinated by INSTEA and the University of Granada, will be entirely online to best meet the needs and professional schedules of the participants, and features two intensive field study courses: Current Challenges in the Arab Worlds Change Process, to be held in Granada and Public Administration Reform in Arab Countries, to be held in Tunis, organised by the MENA-OECD Regional Centre of Expertise for Regulatory Quality.
The OECD and the Euro-Arab Institute Foundation will be granting 17 scholarships (2 full grants and 15 partial (50%) grants) for this Master course. The courses will be taught entirely in English. Deadline for scholarship applications is on 10 September 2011.
Interested applicants should fill out the application form and send a letter of motivation in English requesting the grant and a letter of nomination in English from the highest public administration authority possible to firstname.lastname@example.org before 10 September 2011.
