COTE D’IVOIRE – Teaching Excellence and Achievement Program

The U.S. Embassy in Abidjan is now accepting applications for the Teaching Excellence and Achievement (TEA) program, a six‐week non‐degree, non‐credit customized academic program in the United States. The program includes seminars on new teaching methodologies, curriculum development, lesson planning, and instructional technology, as well as a practicum in a U.S. secondary school. Applicants must be current secondary‐level, full‐time teachers with five or more years teaching English or English as a Foreign Language (EFL). Applicants must also be citizens of Cote d’Ivoire and must be proficient in written and spoken English with a paper‐based TOEFL score of 500 or higher.
