The Public Affairs Section is pleased to announce TechGirls, an exchange program in English for female secondary school students who have demonstrated advanced skills in and enthusiasm for applied technology and who intend to pursue continued studies and a likely future career in a technical field.

COTE D’IVOIRE – Teaching Excellence and Achievement Program

The U.S. Embassy in Abidjan is now accepting applications for the Teaching Excellence and Achievement (TEA) program, a six‐week non‐degree, non‐credit customized academic program in the United States. The program includes seminars on new teaching methodologies, curriculum development, lesson planning, and instructional technology, as well as a practicum in a U.S. secondary school. Applicants must be current secondary‐level, full‐time teachers with five or more years teaching English or English as a Foreign Language (EFL).
